In the Beginning When Google Rolled out Panda and Penguin Updates, No one had any clue about How much they will affect Search Rankings.  But a very few days after the updates, the hammer dropped on many popular blogs.  In Few Months all those Bad tricks which was the main factor in giving Spam Sites higher rankings in search, almost Vanished due to Fear of Google Penalties. People started learning about these updates to keep the penalty away. But only few succeeded, many webmaster’s career’s was almost over.

Those who succeeded, the only ones who created a way to rank well by using all basic techniques, removing all bad methods from the SEO Dictionary.  Below is the list of all methods used Before these Updates and now are dead.

  • Link Building using Black Hat SEO Techniques
  • Keyword Stuffing
  • Irrelevant content and links
  • Posting Low Quality Content with High Searched Keywords

Tips to Survive after Google Panda and Penguin Updates

#1  Write Original and Creative

This is very Common Suggestion that you will read in almost all SEO articles Online. These days only Good Writers can earn high Position in Rankings without being penalized by Google.  If you can’t able to write good, creative and unique content, then, there is no way to get success.  But if your site contains some creative Articles, then, you will automatically Rank Higher because Google Like Unique Ideas and also Your Content will be more popular among readers. This will make you super heavyweight in the arena of Google Animals.

#2 Avoid Poor Quality or Irrelevant Links

Google Penguin is most damaging for those, who was involved in Black Hat Link Building Techniques in the past or for those, who still using the same techniques.  According to Google, Websites having a lot of Unnatural Links (Links with the same anchor text, links from Irrelevant sites) will be penalized until they remove all those links. For some help, Google released a tool called Disavow link. You can use this Tool to tell Google to Ignore the all bad links. #3 Increase Social Signals

Remember this phrase “Social Signals is New SEO” . All those Old SEO ways to Rank Well in search Engine are almost Dead. These days the amount of social signals to any site decides is popularity among readers which means Higher Search ranking because Google want to Rank those sites higher which are providing a Good User experience and where Readers Feel comfortable. In Simple Word, Higher the Number of Social Signals, Higher Your Rankings will be in Google.  So, You can use Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterst, etc.

#4 Avoid Blind Affiliation

Affiliate marketing is one the best ways to generate Income but Beware, if you are doing it blindly, Google’s New Algorithm Updates Might be coming after you to give you a Surprise Gift (Penalty).  So, Use Affiliate Links in a limit which will save you from Google’s eye and also earn you decent money.

#5 Post Relevant

The Main Motive of Google is to increase user search Experience. So, They want those sites to rank higher, who is providing rich Information with relevant Keywords and phrases Because they need readers to understand the content topic at first sight. If your site Fail to do so, then, you may fall down in the rankings.

#6 Build Clean Site Structure and increase site speed

These are two major Factors in ranking well and keeping any kind of  algorithm penalty away.  Building a perfect site structure will help Googlebot to access your site and then it will also create a good user experience. A site taking a lot of time to load will not get anything from Google. So, Use all those methods like reducing coding size, optimize images, reduce number of widgets, etc. to increase Speed.
